Welcome to FinFlows AI. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and FinFlowsAI (“we,” “our,” or “us”), governing your use of the FinFlows AI website at finflowsai.com and the FinFlows AI Android application distributed via Google Play (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing the website or installing the app you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
FinFlows AI provides free financial calculation tools — including EMI calculators, SIP calculators, mortgage calculators, tax estimators, currency converters, and related utilities — to help users perform mathematical computations for personal finance planning.
2. Eligibility
The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
The Service is available globally. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of the Service complies with the laws and regulations of your local jurisdiction.
3. Use of the Service
3.1 Permitted use
You may use the Service for lawful, personal, non-commercial financial planning purposes. You may access and use the calculators freely without creating an account.
3.2 Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from the app or website
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data or content from the Service in bulk
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any harmful code into the Service
- Impersonate FinFlows AI, FinFlowsAI, or any other person or entity
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices displayed in the Service
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our infrastructure
- Redistribute, resell, or sub-license the Service or any of its components without our prior written consent
3.3 Calculator accuracy
Our calculators use standard financial formulas and publicly available exchange rates. While we strive for accuracy, results may differ from those of banks, lenders, or financial institutions due to rounding, rate variations, or differing assumptions. Always verify calculations independently before making any financial commitment.
4. Android App & Google Play
4.1 Distribution
The FinFlows AI Android application is distributed through the Google Play Store. Your download and use of the app is also subject to Google’s Google Play Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Google Play’s terms, Google Play’s terms will govern with respect to your relationship with Google.
4.2 App updates
We may release updates to the Android app from time to time. Some updates may be mandatory — particularly those that fix critical bugs or address security vulnerabilities. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms included with that update.
4.3 Device requirements
You are responsible for ensuring your device meets the minimum requirements listed on the Play Store and for any data charges incurred when downloading or using the app.
4.4 App permissions
The app requests only the permissions necessary for its functionality (e.g., internet access for currency exchange rates). We do not request access to your contacts, microphone, camera, or call logs. A full breakdown is available in the Data Safety section on our Play Store listing.
5. Advertisements
The free version of the Service may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks — Google AdSense on the website and Google AdMob on the Android app. By using the Service you acknowledge that:
- Ads are provided by third-party networks subject to their own terms and privacy policies
- We do not endorse the products or services advertised through the Service
- Ad targeting is based on contextual signals; no personal financial data entered into calculators is used for ad targeting
- Ad frequency and placement may be adjusted remotely via Firebase Remote Config without a new app release
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, graphics, logos, and calculator logic within the Service are the exclusive property of FinFlowsAI or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
The “FinFlow AI” name, logo, and associated marks are trademarks of FinFlowsAI. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
7. Third-Party Links & Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or services (e.g., app stores, financial institutions, educational articles). These links are provided for convenience only. FinFlowsAI has no control over third-party content and is not responsible for it. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk and subject to those parties’ own terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FinFlowsAI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including but not limited to:
- Financial losses arising from reliance on calculator outputs
- Loss of data or business opportunity
- Errors or inaccuracies in calculation results
- Interruptions or downtime of the Service
- Unauthorised access to your device or data by third parties
In any case, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from use of the Service shall not exceed USD $10. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FinFlowsAI and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (c) your infringement of any third-party rights.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data practices. In short: we do not collect personal financial data entered into calculators, and analytics data is only collected with your explicit consent.
12. Children & Families Policy Compliance
FinFlows AI is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We comply with applicable children’s privacy regulations including COPPA (United States) and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions. The app does not contain content rated for adults and does not include social features, in-app purchases, or behavioural advertising that would be prohibited under Google Play’s Families Policy.
13. Changes to the Service & These Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. For material changes, we will provide notice within the app or on our website.
Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and uninstall the app.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law. Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and ceasing to visit the website.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation by contacting us at developer@finflowsai.com.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of India. If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may also have rights under mandatory local consumer protection laws that these Terms cannot override.
16. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FinFlowsAI with respect to the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
